broadcom 802.11g network adapter

hello all...well, ta start off, i am kind of a noo b at this whole thing...but here is my problem.... i have an acer extensa 4420 laptop, and it has a built in wireless card, which is a broadcom 802.11g network adapter. but the thing is, wen i boot into ubuntu, i cant get a wireless connection to the internet,,,,,i downloaded the linux driver for it, which is a .exe file. and have it saved onto a usb flash drive....but i dont know how to install the driver, and i cant install ndiswrapper, because i dont have an internet connection i guess is the reason, because wen ever i try to install ndiswrapper, it wont work....i have been tryin to solve this problem for a couple weeks now....any help would be great....

This site will help you download and install ndiswrapper and it's associated packages from a friends computer (I assume you have some form of internet access as you posted this) and install it on your lap top....
